Journaling
Journaling is a great way to relieve stress, express your emotions and thoughts, and remember events that happened in the past. It can be a great place where you can explore your emotions and become more at peace with yourself. Journaling is something you should try because it has many benefits and is not too tedious. It might be a little hard at first but once you get into the groove of it, you'll find that writing will no longer be such a hassle.
Nature Walks
Take the time to walk in nature and you will find yourself being more energetic. I've found that listening to music and taking pictures makes the experience much more fun and engaging. Even just getting lost in the sounds and sights of nature is calming and grounding. You can also plan walks with friends so that you have good company to relieve stress and appreciate the time with them. Furthermore, you will get exposure to Vitamin D and promote the release of endorphins, both of which are known to help elevate your mood.
Take a Break From Social Media
We often find ourselves endlessly scrolling away without even realizing how much content we have consumed or the amount of time that has passed. However, it is important to take a break every once in a while. Log out of your accounts and put down your phone or computer. Give yourself some time to relax and enjoy yourself. You have full control over deciding how long you want to go offline, but ideally, it would be until you can refocus your attention on other things you find important.
Dance it Out
I don't know about you, but I always feel a lot better after dancing. Even if I'm having a particularly bad day and I don't feel like being social, chances are that I'll feel better if I get up and dance for a few minutes. Dancing helps you learn, exercise, become more physically fit, relieve stress, and do many other things as well. It’s both fun and entertaining.
